Senior Product Designer
2019 - 2020
I helped build and ship AI-powered products for Flexport's cloud logistics platform, used by over 10,000 clients in the $2 trillion global trade industry. I led design for Flexport Intelligence, ML-powered container optimization (10% cost savings), and an AI Customs Auditor achieving 0.2% error rate. Flexport became the largest provider of AI tools for global supply chains.

Zume
Senior Product Designer
2018 - 2019
I led product design for the Zume Forward Mobile team, building AI-powered dashboards and consumer apps for cloud-connected mobile kitchens. The platform used predictive analytics — ingesting weather, events, and ordering patterns to forecast demand and pre-position food before orders came in. Backed by a $375M SoftBank Vision Fund investment in the AI/robotics thesis.

The Minerva Project
Senior Product Designer
2015 - 2018
I joined The Minerva Project to lead product design, building Forum — a real-time learning analytics platform purpose-built for active learning. Forum tracks student engagement and comprehension live during seminars, including TalkTime — real-time speech analytics with no equivalent in Zoom. I also designed data-driven admissions assessments and automation tools that cut cost-per-student by 10x. The platform is now licensed to universities worldwide.

Founding Designer
2012 - 2016
Founding designer at a Google Ventures-backed music tech startup. I joined as a consultant and became first design hire, leading all things design— UX/UI, mobile app design, prototyping, and brand design. To help the company scale, I brought in a more rigorous approach to product design and research. In that time we grew from a single test venue to one of the world's most successful B2B music streaming services.
After proving the model we expanded beyond core offerings to build the first business music app, and new features with bluetooth beacons, point of sale devices, and more.
